I was in a rehab facility for over a month my daughter suggested I get a bike like the one I used in rehab, she found it and I think its great. I do short stints on it about 5 min at a time, and my goal is to get up to 15 min at a time 3 times a day.
I love how small it is, it takes up almost no room in my apartment, its quiet, and the controls are pretty simple.
I didn't like the directions booklet it came with to build it, they were a little confusing. I also didn't have an actual book on how to use the controls, but once I figured it out, it was pretty simple.
I would recomend this to anyone who has gone to physical rehab as a way to stay in motion at home with out causing to much stress.

I'm using this bike for aerobic exercise since I have a bad back, hip and knee replacement. This provides aerobic exercise for me without any pain. Walking causes a lot of discomfort and this bike is a great alternative.

I really like the size of this bike. I can store it in my family room, behind another piece of furniture and one wouldn't know it was there. It is lightweight enough so I can move it out and exercise while I'm watching TV. It is comfortable. I was impressed with how quickly I received it. I didn't attempt to put it together myself because I knew it was going to be a bit confusing so I had someone who does other work for me assemble it.

I am not a gym or fitness center guy. But I needed some form of exercise since I'm 52 years old, and my doctor constantly urges me to workout a few days a week. I saw the RB801 bike and I decided to purchase it. The price was great, and the assembly was fairly easy. But the best has been the workout I get. It's quiet, comfortable, and easy to use. I actually get on it at least 4 days a week, and it feels great working out at home getting the workout my doctor has been nagging me about for years. For the price I can't think of a better buy.

I just put this bike together yesterday - all by myself! I'm definitely no handy-woman so the fact that I could do it myself in under an hour says a lot. I had to get a little creative in stabilizing the cushion stabilizer bar, but that could be due to the fact that I mis-read instructions. I have already put an hour on it while watching a movie and it's absolutely perfect for daily use.

I've had 2 hip replacements and am trying to prevent my knees from requiring the same.
It does exercise the legs quietly and smoothly, but two drawbacks IMHO. First and most importantly, this is not for anyone 6' or over (I'm 6"1"), because one cannot get full leg extension, even at maximum adjustment! This is a crucial range of motion (ROM) aspect of rehabilitation or just plain exercise. Secondly, the instructions for the "computer" are laughable and ineffective as is its actual usefulness. The assembly instructions misidentify one set of bolts. Good luck! It's one thing to be manufactured outside the USA, but at least an English-speaking engineer should provide the instructions. Spend a little more on a better bike and make sure it will accommodate a tall person!

I could not believe the effort required to assemble this product. It came almost completely in parts and took three hours to put together. The instructions were obviously written by an engineer who was: English second language - and had never been on the receiving side of the transaction (the user). I definitely feel that the customer should be advised that " extensive assembly is required".
You should also check the instructions on how to set the mode, and reset the computer. The instructions provided were worthless.
However, once the product was assembled it performed beautifully, smooth and is a quality product.

I have been using this for about 2 weeks now. It was fairly easy to set up, easily adjusts, but the seat is rather uncomfy, so you have to readjust yourself ever so often. I would agree with one of the other reviewers that it is not for large individuals. I have hip problems and have extreme pain when I walk. I have no pain when I use this machine so that is wonderful.

I ruptured my Achilles tendon and I am using this for PT.
Quiet and really easy to use. Does not take up much space.
Pretty low to the ground and the peddles are a little diffuclt to adjust.

I needed something affordable after physical therapy for my knee replacement surgery. It is small and low but it is sturdy for its size. The seat could have used a bit more padding but I can sit and watch tv while I'm pedaling. Overall it's a good buy for physical therapy.

(For my particular use would be good if I could get those pedals further away from me, because to begin with my knee isn't going to want to bend. But I'm sure no bike is made for a full extension of the leg!) I'm sure this will, in fact be just what I need!!! GET that ROM going!!!

I have been in physical therapy for 3 weeks and I asked my therapist if a recumbent bike would help my lower back problem. He said yes, so I searched around and found my bike on [@], found the price right, so I ordered it. I am 73 yrs. old,had a complete knee replacement 3 yrs. ago that never quite healed properly, and find this to be easy and no impact on my legs and feet.
